The University of Nevada, Reno seeks a Specialist, Accounting within the Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR). The Specialist, Accounting reports to the Foundation Controller and provides accounting support to the Division by producing financial statements, performing financial audits, completing journal entries, and providing backup to the Controller in reviewing gift records, tax receipts and performing other gift-related transactions. The Specialist also assists with developing accounting-related business processes and works with others at the University to perform system integrations between the Division’s Blackbaud fundraising software and the Workday financial management system.

Because of the sensitivity of the information and data, the successful candidate must adhere strictly to the highest professional ethics, confidentiality, discretion and judgment. This position offers the opportunity to work independently in an evolving and changing fundraising support environment.
