Responsible for the cultivation and solicitation of major and planned gift prospects for designated region. Plans, coordinates, implements, and supports all system-wide fundraising activities for the specified region.
Administratively reports directly to the Sr.Regional Director of Advancement, South Central and Lewistown with dotted line(s) to the appropriate regional and campus leadership.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*1. Plans, implements, and coordinates the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and acknowledgement of prospective donors and grant making bodies with a portfolio of at least 75.
*2. Working directly with Regional and Campus Leadership and consulting with Office of Institutional Advancement leadership, develops and implements strategies, realistic budgets and effective fundraising programs. Acts as a consultant and makes recommendations to clinical and administrative leaders. Effectively represents Office of Institutional Advancement within the system and the community.
*3. Responsible for understanding regional business plans and fundraising goals. Develops and implements strategies that will help achieve the goals, integrating community relations and tactics to ensure all target audiences are effectively addressed. Responds in a timely manner to any influences that will impact plans.
*4. Plans, implements, and supports the operations of an integrated major and planned giving program. Works with staff to identify gift prospects. Uses donor activity records to identify and research such prospects. Helps cultivate prospective donors through a variety of informational methods, including face-to-face visits, phone and letter correspondence, interactions at system and/or community events, etc. Develops and coordinates the presentation of major gift proposals. Contributes to the support of donor-related cultivation and stewardship programs for those making gifts. Responsibilities include following the established prospect management and tracking system, preparing proposals, planning and preparing itineraries and briefings for prospect contact.
*5. Organizes, implements, and supports occasional special fundraising events designed to meet capital, program and endowment needs.
*6. Coordinates, and develops the preparation of various marketing and information materials related to fundraising programs including case statements, solicitation materials, program descriptions, and architectural drawings and handouts.
*7. Working with Regional and Campus Leadership and consulting with Annual and Employee Giving, develops and facilitates annual and employee fundraising plan for designated priorities.
8. Performs other duties as assigned, including serving on committees and assuming management responsibility for other areas of the Advancement program.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, or other related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of five years fundraising experience required, including proven managerial experience.
